Read below some common ways to cleanse and charge your crystals aka how to sync a crystal together with your inner self and more!!
Tip #1 - The Full Moon
1. Collect your crystals together, take them outside in the moonlight. Ideally, they should be placed on the earth or a natural surface. Crystals like to be earthed or grounded, just like our bodies do. If you don't have access to some earth or lawn to place them on, you can place them on a windowsill or on a natural surface like a wooden plate or on a balcony. If its a group of crystals be sure to lay them out individually and not in a pile. It's perfect if they are in the moonlight - even if that moon is behind clouds or cannot be seen, it's OK! It's more about the crystals being in the Moon's energy as it passes by where ever you may be!
2. If you can, leave your crystals out overnight and collect them in the morning. Some people also like to let their crystals have some time in the Sunlight. Some people leave their crystals out for 24 hours. Some crystals don't like too much sunlight though, so be careful when doing this. And if it's not safe or possible for you to leave your crystals out all night, that's OK. Just leave them out for a long as possible. I'd like to add that whatever your intuition says to you about this will be just fine as well!!
3. You can charge your crystals with their natural properties or charge them with your personal intensions which is most important, whatever you feel you need help with in your life. You can say these intensions aloud or write them on a piece of paper, whatever feels right for you. And when your finished do not forget to give thanks to the universe, to the divine, as well as each crystal. give gratitude.
Tip #2 - Use The Ground
1. Put your crystals into a jar, pot or aluminum container of sorts. Also if burying them freely look for a clean space within the ground to bury. Bury them within the soil only a few inches from the top. Leave them buried for a minimum of 24 hours. For best results leave in the ground for 72 hours or 3 days, is recommended.
2. This method is believed to be particularly helpful when a heavy cleansing is required to remove toxic or otherwise negative energies. You're basically returning the crystals to their natural element, leaving the crystal restored;
Tip #3 - Smudging
Smudging is an ancient cleansing method used in many cultures to cleanse items, rooms and other things of negative energy. Alternative health practitioners believe that surrounding crystals with smoke and letting the crystals pass through the smoke helps cleanse them. This is the way most all crystals can be safely cleansed.
1.Use a sage stick, sandalwood, cedar, palo santo or frankincense to create smoke.
2.Allow the sacred smoke to surround your crystals.
3.Smoke carries low or negative energies away from the crystal, which helps raise the vibrational energy of the crystal.
